Industrial Heat Sealing: How We Waterproof Every Seat Cover
At SAAD Covers, waterproofing is not an afterthought — it's built into every seat cover we produce, using industrial-grade heat sealing technology.
What Is Heat Sealing?
Heat sealing is a professional bonding process where a thermoadhesive tape is applied along the seams and joints of a seat cover using a precision heat sealing machine. The machine applies controlled heat and pressure, creating a permanent, airtight seal that prevents water from penetrating through the stitching.
This is not a spray coating or a temporary fix. It is a structural waterproofing solution integrated directly into the manufacturing process.
Why It Matters
Rain, humidity, and condensation are the primary causes of seat foam deterioration. Once water enters through the seams, it saturates the foam core — leading to mold, material breakdown, and reduced rider comfort. Our heat sealing process eliminates this risk entirely.
- Seals all seam lines and stress points
- Maintains full flexibility and comfort
- Compatible with all fabric types we use (Vinyl, Ultra Grip, Suede, Stamp)
- Applied on every cover as standard or as a premium upgrade
Our Equipment
We invest in professional heat sealing machinery designed for upholstery and technical textile production. Each machine is calibrated for consistent temperature and pressure, ensuring uniform sealing across the entire cover — from the first unit to the thousandth.
This level of precision is what separates a handmade cover from a professionally manufactured one.
Available on All SAAD Covers Products
Heat sealing is available as a standard feature or optional upgrade across our full range of motorcycle, jet ski, and ATV seat covers. Built for riders who demand performance in all weather conditions.
